Can you help…….
stock our emergency food stores?
SNCC in collaboration with Lloyds Supa IGA in Springwood operates an on-going donation food bin within the supermarket that shoppers are encouraged to donate an item or two into from their weekly shop. We also accept food and cash donates at our centre in the new ‘Hub’ during our opening hours.
For 39 years and counting, we have given out food parcels to adults and children in need within our community.
On average 6-7 families are helped each week. This service is not government funded and its a challenge to keep our food cupboards stocked to keep meeting the demand for this crucial community service!
We are raising funds to buy basic items such as long-life milk, cereals, tea/coffee, pasta, rice, sauces, spreads and hygiene items. Your monetary donations will be used to supplement the food donations our Centre receives – which in-turn are personally given out in emergency food parcels to people in need every week!
We are running a GoFundMe page, where people can make donations to. Follow the link HERE
