Tanderra – Out Of School Hours Care
Tanderra Out Of School Hours Care has been providing quality before, after and vacation care to families for over 30 years. Situated centrally in Springwood, we offer OOSH care for children attending Springwood P.S, Faulconbridge P.S, Ellison P.S, St Thomas Aquinas and Blue Mountains Steiner School. During Vacation Care, children attending any primary school can attend our service.
At Tanderra, we are community-based, not-for-profit and we care! We offer that bit extra! We are a licensed provider and families can be confident of high quality care for their children. Our staff team is dedicated and passionate about working with children and is suitably qualified and experienced.
We cater to 5 – 12 year old children in a safe, nurturing environment. Our programme is fun and exciting, offering arts, crafts, cooking, games, sports and much more. Children have opportunities to try new things, expand their interests and skills and also to have free time, choosing how they wish to spend their recreational hours.
Our fees are kept affordable for families and generous rebates are available.
We provide a healthy, nutritious breakfast and afternoon tea, we see the children safely on and off the school buses and provide a safe, fun and dynamic environment for children. We cater to children’s individual needs including dietary and medical needs and we are wheelchair accessible.
During the school holidays, our programme includes interesting and exciting excursions and incursions and children have great holiday experiences. We also open on most state school pupil free days, for families’ convenience.
