Commonwealth Home
Support Program

The Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) is a social visiting service which provides trained volunteers who give their time to visit clients in their homes. Click HERE if you would like to learn more.

Taking Care of Plants

CHSP assists people to remain living in their own homes for as long as possible, and to maintain their independence. The service also provides a vital link between residents who are at risk of becoming socially isolated and their local community.
This is a government funded program that offers companionship and support for older residents living at home. Our friendly and trained volunteers can assist with home visits, social outings, shopping, writing correspondence and library services, as well as providing access to social and community based activities.

For more information, contact Beth Cox on 4751 3033 or email csw2@sncc.org.au
