This service is for frail aged and disabled residents having difficulty accessing public transport to get to medical appointments. There is no need for a doctor’s referral.
Volunteer drivers provide transport for clients to and from their medical appointments.
Once the client has been assessed for eligibility they only need to contact the Centre with the details of any appointments then our volunteer receptionists will organise the transport with one of our friendly drivers.
There is a transport fee for the client and drivers are reimbursed for their expenses.
This service is provided in conjuction with Great Community Transport.
