Springwood Neighbourhood Centre supports families and children through many different programs.
* Kinship Care Regional Project This service is to support those who have care of a relative’s child. The project covers the three LGA’s of the Blue Mountains, Penrith & Hawkesbury.
* Tanderra Out of School Hours Care supports families through the provision of accredited before and after school care and vacation care. Staff in the centre are caring, suitably qualified and the children receive the highest standard of care. The coordinator is happy to discuss with parents or carers any issues that impact on their child.
There are many other activities which focus on supporting families and children and include specific events throughout the year. We also work with many agencies in the area to ensure that members of our community are provided with information and support.
