Providing services to the community to improve the quality of life of our residents.

Springwood Neighbourhood Centre Co-operative Ltd (SNCC), was established in 1978 to link people, resources and ideas. SNCC applies the principles of social justice to the wellbeing of the community. We aim to improve the quality of life experienced by our residents by identifying needs in the community and developing services to meet those needs.

2022 - 2023
Annual Report

We have 3 Strategic Goals we will be focusing on –

• Visibility

• A Fresh Approach

• Financial Sustainability.

To achieve these goals we continue to need and deeply appreciate the work of our team, our volunteers, our Board and our Members. We invite current and new members to join us on our journey to positively impact our vibrant, caring and inclusive community. Reach out today!

We focus on our communities’

• Health and Wellbeing

•  Social connection

•  Inclusion

Our intergenerational program between 3 – 5 year olds and people over 65 has created strong relationships and brought a lot of fun to both the children and the older participants. This program is supported by Nepean Blue Mountains Primary Health Network (NBMPHN). Wentworth Healthcare is the provider of NBMPHN. We have captured sound evidence that demonstrates health and well being improvements for the Seniors and the young ones who have developed the confidence to make new social connections and try new activities.
